Welcome to Hackerspace - Girls in Tech Club! We're an after-school program in New Delhi, India dedicated to introducing young women to the exciting world of technology. We cater towards middle-school / high-school-aged girls in particular and nudge them in the direction of STEM/tech.
Accepting young girls at any skill level (be it beginners to advanced), we help girls become a part of the initiative through hands-on projects, mentorship, and collaborative learning. This is done by running coding workshops, building projects together, inviting mentors, asking questions and a whole lot of trial and error.
Weβre affiliated with Hack Club and host a lot of events focussed around their programs (like high seas, boba drops, etc.). Weβre always looking for funding and your donations, be it monetary (even the smallest amount helps!) or in-kind (hardware components / electronics kits/ spare laptops / discounts / gift cards)) would mean a lot to us and help those who we serve. We would love for those in the tech industry to donate your time to sit down for an AMA session and give us an idea of what itβs like working in the IT-sector specifically in India.
